Schools and Organizations
programs for schools and organizations
Intentional rites of passage are life-enhancing experiences that prepare youth to be caring, strong and joyful adults. They are especially powerful when children are navigating change, such as when they move from child to teen, or from teen to adult.
Since 1968, Journeys has served over a thousand youth. We have also assisted dozens of schools and organizations with customized programs for their members. We know that there is no one-size-fits-all rite of passage in modern American culture.
Perhaps you work in education, or are an active member of a church, or are involved with a special program serving youth. Journeys is your ally. Our time-tested methods of intentionally creating rites of passage can improve the depth, impact, and richness of what you already offer the youth of your community.
There are many ways that Journeys can serve you. Here are four different options:
-
Have children in your organization (age 8 to 18) attend our open enrollment summer programs;
-
Ask Journeys to custom-design an outing specific to the needs of your group’s youth;
Our youth need guidance from caring and informed adults. Let’s help them on their journey.
