creating fertile ground for collective belonging

Freight trains are running through,

but the trees are listening to the earth.

What will we choose to listen to?

Ages 18+ | Oct. 2025 dates TBA | 4-day immersive experience

Healing happens in spaces of belonging and moves us from division into connection. This course explores leadership through deepening our understanding of power, privilege, and identity—not as abstract concepts, but as lived experiences that shape our relationships and communities. Through deep listening and felt sense, attunement becomes the ground where all voices are honored and essential.

How do we do things differently?

Come explore what’s beyond resilience, beyond what makes your head and heart hurt in the “trying to figure it out” or the “just take it one day at a time”. Let’s be real, we are exhausted.

We are meant for more than hamster wheel of chaos, unknown, crisis cycles, disconnection while trying to deliver.

PAUSE.

Breathe, as easy as possible in this moment (could be teaspoons, could be through a straw).

Come breathe with the trees, together. With the land. And with what’s trapped inside that’s been waiting for our arrival.

Together, in belonging.

Post note: We got curriculum. We got you. We got us.

See the bullet points, AND let’s arrive beyond the bullet points. :)

Core Themes:

  • Ancestral connection

  • Culture and race

  • Identity and bias

  • Belonging/ power & privilege

  • Indigeneity & integration

Objectives:

  • Participants are able to see positive outcomes of diversity in nature reflected in themselves and their communities

  • Participants will learn, practice, and take away skills of self-awareness and community attunement.

  • Participants will gain experience of co-creating culturally relevant foundations of belonging applicable to their life, work, and leadership contexts.

  • Participants will understand how offering the gift of their own embodied presence can become an offering in a thriving ecosystem of shared gifts.

Each Soulful Spaceholding and Leadership course is built around five key elements, designed to transform spaceholding and leadership from the inside out:

  1. Deepening Connection to the Natural World – Shifting from ego-driven leadership to an eco-centered approach by drawing wisdom from connection to nature. Each course weaves in practices that strengthen our relationship with the living world.

  2. Embodied Spaceholding – Moving beyond logic-driven leadership to a more holistic, body-aware approach. Through somatic practices, participants will develop practices to enhance resilience, presence, and the ability to lead with both strength and sensitivity.

  3. Inner Depth Work – Redirecting focus from external achievements to deeper personal alignment and meaning. By exploring the inner landscape, leaders cultivate clarity, authenticity, and a stronger sense of purpose based on their unique gifts in the world.

  4. Embracing the Sacred & the Unknown – Letting go of the need for certainty and learning to trust what unfolds. This component encourages leaders to engage with mystery, intuition, and practices that reveal the unseen possibilities that can shape meaningful change.

  5. Leadership in Action – Moving from self-focused ambition to spaceholding and leadership in service of both human and more-than-human communities. Passion becomes purpose, and leadership becomes an act of care and commitment to the world.

Facilitators

kiana jenkins

Facilitator

Unapologetically wild and innately free, Kiana is a creature from the chaparral lands of Ojai Valley and the salty waters of the Ventura coast. Countless nature immersions of backpacking, rock hopping along creeks, and surfing in the waves with their three older brothers made for an uproarious childhood…

sara airoldi

Facilitator

Sara grew up in the conflux of a European-American identity constrained to “whiteness” and actively grounding in the diaspora of intercultural, intersectional being. She has 20+ years experience with group facilitation/training and collaboration to uplift individual and community well-being and create conditions…
