School Programs
“Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
Based on over 50 years of Rite of Passage curriculum building, our programs provide students with nature immersion, solo & group reflection, communication & leadership skill building, and acknowledgement of life turning points like graduations. Through the challenge and excitement of engagement with the natural world and the support of peers and adult mentors, students are encouraged to take healthy risks as they step closer to adulthood. Their sense of independence and trust in themselves grows along with their ability to give and receive community care. We’ve witnessed thousands of young people return from their Rite of Passage Journeys with a renewed sense of openness & curiosity and a deeper understanding of the support their loved ones have for them as they transition from one stage of life to the next.
Programs for Middle Schoolers
Middle school is a pivotal time of growth, and at Rite of Passage Journeys, we turn that transition into a powerful opportunity. In the wilderness, free from daily distractions, students build confidence, emotional resilience, and self-awareness. They learn to navigate challenges, form meaningful connections, and discover their strengths. These experiences lay the foundation for healthy identity, purpose, and a lasting sense of belonging—skills that guide them well beyond their time in nature.

We specialize in Waldorf and Montessori programs!
We provide opportunities for Waldorf and Montessori schools to bring their students together in an immersive experience of connection. In these programs, students gain deeper awareness of self and understanding of necessary building blocks needed to step into a collective, caring community. Through changing landscapes, students endure physical challenges and deep reflections from nature itself. Ultimately bringing forth a profound togetherness both internally and externally. With our trained staff, we can create programs that are specific to your values as a school and classroom.
